The center of the hotel, The Lobby is a soaring glass atrium that serves as the favorite meeting place of Manila's business and social elite, offering a 24-hour menu and drinks served while a pianist plays during lunch, and to the sounds of The Peninsula String Ensemble and The Peninsula Jazz Band alternating from 6:00 pm onwards. The Peninsula's legendary Afternoon Tea is served daily at the Makati side of The Lobby from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.
