The Peninsula Manila's chocolate tradition began 40 years ago when the hotel first opened its doors in September 14, 1976. Since then, the hotel's pastry chefs have worked with the finest cocoa, fruits, nuts and other ingredients in making luscious confections.
In commemoration of the hotel's 40th anniversary, The Peninsula Manila is launching a line of eight new luxury chocolate flavors where only the finest natural ingredients are used. Showcasing eight exotic flavors that perfectly capture the tastes of the country's local produce, these premium chocolate pralines come in a limited edition 40th Anniversary box that reflects hotel's iconic fountain and grand lobby.
The featured flavors include Calamansi, Buko Pandan, Ube Macapuno, Mango Jasmine, Salted Caramel, Blood Orange, Kirsch and Bitter Ganache. The house specialty is a Mango Jasmine Praline, the finest quality hand-made chocolate infused with the intense flavor of sweet Philippine mangoes blended with specially-crafted Peninsula Jasmine Tea. A must for lovers of fine chocolates.
